Week of Compassion
Last summer, when a major tree limb fell on our congregation’s driveway and we lacked the funds to remove it, we received a grant from Week of Compassion — a “Solidarity Grant” of $750 — to help defray our costs.
Let’s repay the gift we were so generously given so that others in need can be helped as we were.
Giving envelopes will be in Sunday bulletins on February 17 and 24. Funds given in these envelopes are treated as a special offering, which means that they go directly to Week of Compassion, and they are seen as being over-and-above the operational fund offering that First Christian Church receives.
